Customer security and satisfaction are the most important factors for Silvelox, and the result of research and constant commitment in pursuing excellence respecting Man and Environment.

For this purpose Silvelox has developed a Policy for quality and for respect of the environment aiming to keeping improving its quality and environmental performances. Silvelox also adopts an integrated Quality and Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 about quality and UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 for environment certificated by DNV.

Silvelox has also obtained the important title of “CasaClima partner company”, given exclusively to companies that, besides a great ability in their primary activity, demonstrate constant involvement in environment defence.

Besides these company certifications, Silvelox safeguards its customers also with many product certifications.

Each Silvelox door is tested and identified by a serial number for which a certificate is given. The certificate is provided in the Use and Maintenance manual, where the following warranties are included:

WARRANTY ON GARAGE DOOR:

• 10 YEARS on structural components of the door,
• 5 YEARS on mechanical and electric components of the motorization or 20.000 cycles (one cycle = opening + closing),
• 4 YEARS on the duration of waterproof film applied to wood components,
• 2 YEARS on electronic components of the motorisation.

WARRANTY ON ENTRANCE DOOR:

• 10 YEARS on structural components of the product,
• 4 YEARS on the duration of waterproof film applied to wooden covering panels suggested for a complete exposure to atmospheric agents,
• 2 YEARS on lock components.

WARRANTY ON DOUBLE LEAF DOOR:

• 10 YEARS on structural components of the product,
• 4  YEARS on the duration of waterproof film applied to wood components,
• 2 YEARS on mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the motorisation.

Silvelox garage, entrance and double leaf doors are CE marked; Silvelox provides a declaration of conformity in accordance with European directive 89/106/CEE – CPD Construction Product Directive (garage and double leaf doors) and UNI ENV 1627 (entrance doors). These directives deal with safety matters and oblige the manufacturer to test its products (some tests are compulsory, some other optional) at laboratories notified for this activity at European level. The tests carried out enable Silvelox to CE mark its doors, for the safeguard of customers.

In order to offer customers more comforts, Silvelox has tested its garage and entrance doors for burglar resistance. As a result, garage door series Secur has obtained anti-burglar certification class 1 and garage door series Secur Plus certification class 3. Concerning security entrance doors, the different models have been divided into three series, depending on anti-intrusion certification level: class 2, class 3 and class 4.
