CasaClima classifies the buildings which respond to its principles, therefore aiming to combine energy saving, comfort and sustainability. The 3 categories in which they are classified provide an estimate of the energy consumption rate of the building.

CasaClima Gold refers to the lowest energy consumption of the three classes, with a heating energy consumption of 10 Kilowatt-hours per square metre each year, requiring practically no active heating system. CasaClima Gold is also called “one-litre building”, as it requires one litre of oil (or one cubic metre of gas) per square metre each year.
Buildings with a heat consumption of less than 30 Kilowatt-hours per square metre each year receive CasaClima A classification and are also called “three-litre building” because of their usage of three litres of oil (or three cubic metres of gas)per square metre each year.
In order to qualify a building as CasaClima B, its heating energy consumption must be under 50 Kilowatt-hours per square metre each year. That's the “five-litre building”, which requires less than five litres of heating oil (or five cubic metres of gas) per square metre each year.

Every building in CasaClima Gold, A or B class is given the CasaClima label to be put on the main façade. It is a concrete proof of the ecologic value of the building and contributes to increase its value.
