The protection of your family and your possessions is obviously of your utmost concern, especially when choosing the door accessing your home .
For this reason, Silvelox has developed a wide range of security entrance doors that respond to different anti break-in certification levels according to the European Norm ENV 1627.
This attention to security has been paid also towards the garage door, because during the last two years it has been defined as the most common entry way for burglars. Studies on materials and panel composition have permitted to obtain Class 1 and Class 3 burglar resistance certifications according the Norm ENV 1627 also on Silvelox garage door.
In order to obtain this certification and determine resistance level (Class), the doors have undergone strict tests relative to forcing resistance, static and dynamic loading resistance. Having passed these tests, doors have been classified into this scale:
CLASS 1: the burglar tries to force the door using physical strength, pushing, knocking, lifting.
CLASS 2: the burglar tries to force the door using simple tools, such as pincers, screwdrivers,..
CLASS 3: the burglar tries to enter using a crowbar.
CLASS 4: the expert burglar uses saws, hammers, hatchets, chisels and electric drills.
